Just wanted to write a quick post regarding the latest Minecraft update and our server.
Our Server: The software we use is called CraftBukkit. It is a modified version of the official Minecraft server, developed by a team of volunteers who release it for free! 🙂
Each time Mojang releases a new Minecraft update, the Bukkit team work incredibly hard to release an update as soon as possible, but it can take several days after the Minecraft release for CraftBukkit to be updated. This is an amazingly overwhelming task and the Bukkit team should be commended for their incredible effort!
Remember, if you update your Minecraft client before our server is updated, you will NOT be able to connect!! You have been warned.
So please, we ask that you be patient during this transition period. We will get there, but it just takes time.
