So Long HC3, and Thanks for All the Emeralds!

It’s that bittersweet moment again. After a good long run, HC3’s Villager Seasons is coming to a close. The villagers have traded their last emerald, the seasons have cycled through one too many winters, and player activity has gently drifted off into the sunset. We’re calling it: HC3 Villager Seasons shuts down on May 31st 2026.

It’s been a ride. Villager Seasons gave us seasonal chaos, trade hall empires, weather you could feel in your bones, and a few genuinely unhinged player strategies we never saw coming (you know who you are). Thank you to everyone who logged in, died horribly, rebuilt, died again, and kept the world alive for as long as you did. That’s the whole point of HC3, and you absolutely nailed it.

One Last Hurrah

You’ve got just under three weeks. If you’ve been meaning to:

  • Finally finish that base
  • Cash in your villager hoard
  • Take some screenshots for the memory book
  • Or just go out in a blaze of glory

Now’s the time. Hop on, say goodbye properly and make it count!

Final Stats Standings

Stats will stick around for as long as the HC3 world does, then they’ll be retired along with it. So if you want to immortalise your run, now’s the moment. Head over to the Observatory to check your standings, screenshot the leaderboards, and settle any unfinished business with your trade-hall rivals before it’s all archived to memory.

What’s Next?

We’re not ready to spill the beans on HC3’s next chapter just yet, but here’s what we’ll say: it’s going to be very different. Villager Seasons asked you to outwit mortality, master the breeding pens, and squeeze every last trade out of an ageing cleric. The next chapter asks something else of you entirely. More on that soon.

Until then, see you on HC3 one last time. Bring snacks!!
